Health Coaching

As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, my goal is to coach women who are trying to lose weight by advocating for whole food nutrition, moving the body, and proactively de-stressing.

I also believe that you know yourself best. Therefore, you are in the driver’s seat in our coaching relationship, and your goals and needs will guide our work. I will be right there with you - supporting and motivating you; holding you accountable; providing you with resources; cutting through the confusing nature of food and nutrition advice online; and ultimately helping you better understand your body and the way it functions.

Personal Training

As your Personal Trainer, I will design a workout plan that is tailored to your specific needs. Together we will look at your goals and figure out the steps to get you there in a fun and supportive way. I will teach you how to work out properly without hurting yourself so you can attain functional fitness that is useful to you as you go through your everyday life. We will also work on making sure that you can maintain your results in the future.

Yoga and Meditation

I have done yoga on and off for about 17 years, but it wasn’t until the last few years that I committed to a regular practice. It was during that time that I realized that yoga is more than exercise. It is a way to relieve stress, rebalance the body and mind, and quiet down in our busy world. On a physical level, it has helped me improve my flexibility, balance and strength and led me to become more aware of my own body. I have scoliosis and have found yoga immensely helpful in relaxing my back muscles while strengthening them at the same time. On a mental level, yoga and meditation have helped me step back and assess challenging situations before blindly reacting to them. They have also increased my spirituality and taught me to trust that the right thing will happen at the right time.

I am a registered teacher with the International Yoga Alliance and offer a monthly online yoga membership for $35 per month. You can access old classes as often as you’d like, and one new class is added each week.
